Full Job Description Salary:
$36,360•49,920 per year + none

AB_5030884 We are seeking a detail-oriented Mold Technician to join our technical team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting injection molds in presses, configuring initial machine settings per master specifications, and executing first-shot activities. Key Responsibilities Mold Changes & Setup:
Review daily change schedules, pull previous tooling, set new injection molds into presses, and connect all required auxiliary and support equipment.
Process Configuration:
Load machine process settings per the Master Process Control sheet and complete the initial setup for First Piece Approval.
Maintenance & Teardown:
Inspect tooling, clean workstations, move finished tools to storage, and initiate work orders for press or tool repairs.
Safety & Operations:
Perform Lockout/Tagout procedures, safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts, and maintain rigorous workplace housekeeping.
Communication & Support:
Keep shift supervisors updated on mold change status/schedules, collaborate on troubleshooting, and support continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications & Requirements Education/Experience:
High school diploma/GED OR 3+ months of related manufacturing experience/training.
Certifications/Equipment:
Must be certified (or able to certify) to operate forklifts and overhead cranes, with strict adherence to Lockout/Tagout procedures.
Technical & Math Skills:
Proficient in basic math (fractions, decimals, ratios, percentages) and able to read safety rules, operating instructions, and system docs.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and apply up to 350 lbs of torque.
Communication:
Great communication skills across all team levels and active participation in problem-solving activities.
