Job Description
Casting furnace operators are trained on casting furnace and must demonstrate proficiency on that equipment. To become an equipment operator, the applicant must have passed micrometer training and demonstrate proficiency with all measurement tools. He must also have passed Individual training is covered in the training form for each piece of equipment. The Casting Laborer has the following specific job duties: Arrive at work 5-10 minutes before the scheduled start time. Adhere to Ameritube's Quality Management System Fill out paperwork properly and be able to maintain tracking and traceability of work in process inventory Charge casting furnace 4-5 times per hour, select proper charging material, and record measurements from control panel. Weare appropriate casting PPE, respirator, flame resistant boots/shoes, flame resistant shirt and pants. Maintain a clean work environment Hiring for 2nd (2pm - 10pm) and 3rd (10pm - 6am)
