Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain feed mixing and grinding equipment.
  • Assist with daily cleaning and sanitizing machinery and production areas to maintain a safe and sanitary work environment.
  • Weigh and measure ingredients according to specified feed formulas.
  • Ensure the proper blending and consistency of feed mixtures.
  • Monitor equipment performance and identify any maintenance needs.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and quality control standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of feed production and inventory.
  • Physical inventory counts of bulk ingredients
  • Unloading uploading incoming ingredients
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience in operating feed mixing and grinding machinery. Knowledge of feed ingredients and formulation. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed. Commitment to workplace safety.
  • Additional Skills (Beneficial):
  • Forklift certification.
  • Basic computer skills.
