Full Job Description Job description Now Hiring for (experienced) Injection Mold Setup For Our Growing Team! Mantz Automation is a leader in automotive, packaging, medical, cosmetic, and many other industries. All done from our world-class facility in Hartford, Wisconsin. As an Injection Mold Setup / Process tech at Mantz Automation you work with our toolmakers and customers during the mold making process.
Injection Mold Setup/Processing Position Responsibilities:
Set up molds and develop processing parameters for ongoing process improvements. Process new molds, troubleshoot issues, and debug equipment to maintain optimal operation. Analyze process conditions to identify root causes of defects or inefficiencies and implement corrective actions. Lead the shift team, providing guidance and support to ensure safety, quality, and productivity. Collaborate with toolmakers and engineering teams during mold development and qualification. Document procedures, process changes, and shift reports accurately. Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies. Perform other duties as assigned to support manufacturing goals.
Qualifications & Skills :
Proven experience in injection molding setup and processing. Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise a team effectively. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of process control, troubleshooting, and debugging techniques. Ability to read and interpret technical instructions and drawings. Capable of working independently with minimal supervision or as part of a team. Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and management.
