Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ø Operate molding presses, vacuum forming, die-cutting, CNC routing, plastic granulators, general hand tools, and other related equipment. Ø Work with multiple presses running in a fast-paced environment. Ø Must be able to follow instructions and work independently. Ø Maintain standard cycle as established by job rate. Ø Must be able to handle large sheets and or part/parts. Sheet size can be up to 51 X 75 inches. Ø Inspect quality of parts and report any changes to the immediate Manager/Lead. Ø The operator will be held accountable for the quality of his/her work. Ø Move, pack, or stack raw or finished parts without damaging or affecting quality. Ø Make sure labels are affixed neatly and have correct information on them. Ø Clean up at and around presses during mold changeovers, and clean up at the end of the day. Ø Perform re-work or other necessary functions when instructed or when time allows. Ø Assist in the development and training of new machine operators. Ø Communicate to the relieving operator, such as trimming, packing, and quality standards. Ø Work a flexible schedule to support production demands. Ø Adhere to department and company safety guidelines. Ø Ability to perform a visual inspection for cosmetic defects. Ø Must be able to perform essential duties efficiently and accurately. Ø Work independently of continual supervision. Ø Perform other duties as assigned or needed .
Minimum Qualifications/Experience/Qualifications:
Ø Must be able to perform basic math, read and understand instructions. Ø Must be able to make decisions. Ø Must be able to retain information. Ø Must be able to use and read precision measuring devices.
Environmental/Working Conditions:
Ø Factory environment. Ø Will occasionally be exposed to moderate noise, oily dusty, hot, and wet conditions. Ø Will be exposed to moving mechanical parts.
