Assistant Production Manager

Duties Assist the Production Manager in overseeing daily manufacturing activities to ensure smooth operations across all production lines. Support production planning efforts by utilizing ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems such as SAP to schedule and monitor workflow, materials, and resources. Coordinate with supply chain teams to analyze supply chain management data and optimize inventory levels Implement lean manufacturing principles and process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and elevate product quality. Monitor production processes for adherence to quality control standards and safety regulations, addressing issues promptly. Contribute to plant management by assisting in resource allocation, equipment maintenance scheduling, and workforce management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging KPI analytics for data-driven decision-making. Support assembly operations and mechanical troubleshooting as needed to maintain high productivity levels. Lead Supervisor, Senior Team Leader and Team Leaders to ensure effective process flows. Qualifications 8 years proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of operations management principles. Familiarity with production planning and supply chain coordination. Knowledge of lean manufacturing methodologies and process improvement techniques aimed at operational excellence. Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in assembly processes and equipment maintenance. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret quality data and identify opportunities for modernization and optimization. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments and lead teams toward shared goals. Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards.
