An Operations and Maintenance Specialist works for a production plant or manufacturer. They may direct and coordinate the daily operations and maintenance of a facility in collaboration with leadership. May assist in establishing new system processes, such as improving production cost, product quality, policy and procedure implementation, material and inventory utilization, and operation efficiency.
The Lubrication Specialist is responsible for supporting the reliability, performance, and longevity of manufacturing equipment through the implementation and execution of best-in-class lubrication practices. This role helps maximize equipment uptime, reduce maintenance costs, and improve operational efficiency by ensuring proper lubrication, condition monitoring, and contamination control across production assets.
Education Requirements :
High School Diploma or Equivalent and Lube Specialist journeyman's card or three (3) years' experience in industrial/manufacturing lubrication.
Essential Job Functions :
Performs all work processes of the Lubrications Specialist. Working from charts or verbal instructions, drains, cleans, PM's and services specific lubrications to assigned equipment at proper intervals. Inspects, tests, adjusts, or minor repairs all external lubrication carrying systems of production equipment or related sub systems. Maintains all portable servicing equipment, work area lubrication containers, storage areas in a clean safe and orderly manner. Removes all types of access covers or plates to gain entry to all lubrication of filtration points. Uses air, electric and various small hand tools. Operates various material handling equipment such as floor-controlled cranes, overhead cranes, prime movers, work savers or lift trucks. Maintains constant lubrication PM program throughout the plant. Assists, directs and trains Lubrication Apprentices in the Lubrication Specialist craft. Keep Hydraulic systems clean and serviced. Maintains necessary records.

Essential Experience Required :
