The Entry Level Engineer support maintenance and production to develop and implement new or improved chemical manufacturing processes. This role can serve as the engineering representative on small capital projects including justification, obtaining approval, ordering, and installation processes and equipment.

What You'll Do:

Work with maintenance and production to develop and implement new or improved chemical manufacturing processes Assist with troubleshooting, gathering and analyzing data Analyze, develop and recommend design changes to meet production requirements Justify, specify, obtain approval, order and install processes and equipment Evaluate materials and/or metallurgy for long-term operability of equipment Update P&IDs of plant processes with manufacturing equipment Support plant and Operational and Maintenance Excellence goals, including continuous improvement / Lean manufacturing initiatives Participate in plant shutdowns/outages Maintain effective communication and coordination with area supervisors, production operators and maintenance technicians Participate in and/or lead Process Hazard Analysis (PHAs) Assist in developing policies, procedures and standards, including preventative maintenance Participate in safety meetings, training activities and following established safety procedures and practices

What You'll Bring:

Enrolled at an accredited college or university majoring in an undergraduate Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering degree program. Bachelor's degree must be completed by June 1, 2027. Prior experience in Olin's College Recruiting Program Must have an overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Cumulative GPA on current institution transcript will be used in transfer college situations. Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and possess a valid US Driver's license
