Job Description
The Operations Intern will support their area in ensuring the smooth operation of all Manufacturing and Production. The selected individual will gain hands-experience in a fast-paced steel manufacturing environment, supporting daily production and operations initiatives at U.S. Steel. This role provides exposure to manufacturing processes, safety, processes and practices, workforce coordination, and continuous improvement projects while developing practical skills in operations management, problem-solving, and industrial leadership. Interns work alongside experienced operations professionals to help drive efficiency, quality and performance across the facility.
