Role:
The GB Process-Process Tech plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of manufacturing processes within the facility. This position is responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing production equipment and process parameters to maintain product quality and maximize throughput. The role requires collaboration with engineering, quality assurance, and maintenance teams to implement process improvements and resolve technical issues promptly. The Process Tech will also be instrumental in documenting process changes and maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Ultimately, this position contributes directly to the continuous improvement of manufacturing operations, supporting the company's commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred. Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably with process technology or production equipment. Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control principles, and safety regulations. Ability to read and interpret technical documents, process flow diagrams, and equipment manuals. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree or higher in manufacturing technology, engineering, or a related discipline. Experience with process control systems, automation, and data analysis tools. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. Knowledge of regulatory standards relevant to manufacturing, such as OSHA or ISO certifications. Proven ability to lead small projects or process improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and control manufacturing processes to ensure consistent product quality and operational efficiency. Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues by analyzing equipment performance and process data. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and optimize production workflows. Maintain accurate process documentation and report deviations or incidents in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. Support routine maintenance activities and assist in the installation and validation of new equipment or process changes.
