We provide oil spill compliance services on behalf of our Members within the state of Alaska. We strive to improve and satisfy evolving expectations and requirements of our Members, governmental agencies, and the general public. Responsibilities Respond swiftly and efficiently to oil spill incidents, implementing containment and cleanup procedures according to established protocols. Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for spill mitigation, including booms, skimmers, and absorbents. Ability to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions while maintaining safety protocols. Other activities revolving spill response efforts.
Preferred skills being sought:
Class A CDL Vac truck operations Small vessel operations Oil spill response experience Current 40-hourHAZWOPER
Mechanic / Preventative Maintenance Heavy Equipment operation Team oriented with passion to work safe and efficiently. Employees must permanently reside in the Anchorage area. This is a full-time, non-exempt, hourly position. Job offer is contingent upon a medical exam to include drug screen and background investigation. This position is just the fit for an individual passionate about environmental protection and emergency response.
