Safety-Kleen, a Clean Harbors company, seeks a Senior Terminal Operator to safely operate and monitor used oil and waste handling systems in a busy utilities and energy environment. Working closely with operations and logistics teams, you'll help maintain reliable, compliant terminal performance, support recycling and waste management goals, complete documentation, and contribute to a strong safety-first, teamwork-driven culture with growth opportunities. Responsibilities Operate and monitor terminal pumps, valves, and transfer systems for used oil and waste streams Perform routine inspections of tanks, lines, and equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation Support loading and unloading of trucks and other transport equipment following DOT and OSHA rules Maintain accurate logs, meters, and transfer records for environmental and operational compliance Follow and enforce all safety procedures, including PPE use and lockout/tagout (LOTO) Identify and report equipment issues, performing basic troubleshooting or escalation as needed Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to meet schedules and service commitments Assist with spill prevention, containment, and emergency response drills Ensure adherence to environmental permits, company policies, and regulatory requirements Participate in training, safety programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
