Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Plant Operator and play a vital role in maintaining the efficiency and safety of our industrial facilities. In this energetic position, you will operate and monitor heavy equipment, manage pipeline systems, and ensure the smooth functioning of plant operations within the oil & gas sector. Your mechanical knowledge and technical skills will contribute to safe, reliable, and environmentally responsible operations. Duties Operate heavy equipment such as cranes, loaders, and other machinery essential for plant functions and construction activities Manage pipeline systems, ensuring proper flow, pressure, and safety protocols are maintained at all times Use programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and distributed control systems (DCS) to monitor and control plant processes efficiently Conduct routine inspections of equipment and pipelines to identify potential issues early and perform necessary repairs or maintenance Perform heavy lifting tasks safely using appropriate tools and techniques to handle materials or equipment as needed Assist in construction projects by supporting installation, commissioning, or troubleshooting of mechanical systems Maintain detailed logs of operations, equipment status, and safety checks to ensure compliance with industry standards Experience Prior experience operating heavy equipment on oil rigs or in oil & gas production environments is highly desirable Strong mechanical knowledge related to pipelines, pumps, valves, and other industrial machinery Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and distributed control systems (DCS) used in industrial automation Hands-on experience with equipment repair, troubleshooting electrical or mechanical faults efficiently Knowledge of construction procedures within industrial settings involving heavy lifting and equipment setup Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to flow rates or pressure levels, and data recording Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safety standards This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to advance their careers in the oil & gas industry by mastering essential operational skills.
