LGC Hospitality Staffing is hiring dependable Plant Operators to support a leading industrial processing facility in Fort Wayne, IN. This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity ideal for individuals who are safety focused, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in an industrial environment. As a Plant Operator, you will assist with loading and unloading trucks, operating pumps and valves, processing industrial materials, and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment while following all company safety procedures.
Responsibilities:
Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently Accurately record load weights, counts, and other required information Operate pumps, valves, and other plant equipment as directed Learn and assist with industrial material processing procedures Perform general plant housekeeping to maintain a clean and organized facility Operate a forklift as needed to move materials throughout the plant Follow all plant safety policies, procedures, and environmental regulations Inspect work areas and report equipment issues or safety concerns to supervisors Work collaboratively with plant personnel to ensure efficient daily operations Arrive on time, in proper work attire, and ready to work

Industrial processing facility Indoor and outdoor work areas Hot and cold working conditions Manufacturing and production environment
Requirements:
Ability to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis Ability to safely climb ladders, stairs, and elevated platforms Comfortable working in both hot and cold environments Previous industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, or plant experience preferred Basic computer, software, or data entry experience Forklift experience is preferred but not required Strong attention to safety and ability to follow established procedures Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compensation & What We Offer:
