What you can expect to work on… This position plays a key role in the production of various medical radioisotopes using extraction methods developed at Niowave. The products will be shipped around the world for use in cancer therapies. Some of the daily activities include: Handles sealed and unsealed forms of radioactive material Conducts radiological contamination surveys Maintains radiation detectors Assists in packaging, characterization, and disposition of radioactive waste Participates in regulatory compliance activities Participates in the coordination of experiments or procedures in a laboratory setting Maintains records in a comprehensive, reproducible, and accurate manner.
