Additional information about the company can be found online at www.bwpipelines.com. We are currently looking for a Area Supervisor/Area Manager for our Flowood, MS office.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

This position is based out of the Flowood, MS office and is responsible for leading operations and maintenance (O&M) personnel in the assigned area to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operation of company assets in accordance with DOT 192, EPA/DEQ, OSHA, and applicable inter-company and industry policies and procedures. The area of responsibility includes reciprocating and turbine compression equipment, gas conditioning and measurement facilities, underground storage assets, area pipelines and compressor stations. This position is responsible for leading a team of employees who oversee the compression, pipeline, corrosion, and measurement operations, and maintenance (O&M) activities to ensure compliance with

DOT 192, EPA/DEQ, OSHA

regulations, and inter-company and industry-related policies and procedures. Responsibilities include managing and ensuring the safe movement of product in and out of the facility, serving as the primary customer contact, continuously monitoring equipment, and overseeing maintenance as needed. The role also includes identifying and reporting abnormal or safety-related operating conditions, submitting accident and near-miss reports, and supporting emergency response activities. Additionally, this position is accountable for regulatory compliance and operational procedures related to enforcement agencies as they apply to the facility's equipment and appurtenances. The successful candidate will be required to complete Core Blocks in Safety, Environmental, and Company policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include being accountable for developing and managing the operating budget; ensuring the safe and reliable operation of compressor, pipeline, storage, corrosion, and measurement facilities; and driving effective and efficient workforce performance. Responsibilities also include cross-functional coordination with Operations Support, Engineering, Construction, Gas Control, Legal, and ROW; employee development and training; leadership of safety programs; emergency response; gas quality assurance; coordination of shutdowns; regulatory compliance; and managing property owner issues. Networking with emergency response agencies and supporting community efforts in the area of responsibility.

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

Five to Ten years' experience in the natural gas compression and storage industry Familiar with DOT 192 regulations and natural gas pipeline operations Excellent interpersonal, communication, leadership, and strong computer skills along with economic and critical thinking skills. Ability to read and implement the O&M manual and the ability to read drawings, alignment sheets, and valve maps. Ability to work effectively within a team environment and maintain good working relationships with governmental and customer counterparts. Also required, is self-motivation, a commitment to and strong advocate of personal and team safety, along with a strong work ethic. Ability to manage multiple situations simultaneously. Ability to work in extreme weather and noise conditions and the ability to stand for long durations. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

Leadership experience in Field Operations 10 (+) years of pipeline operations and maintenance experience associated with underground storage facilities. 10+ years of pipeline operations and maintenance experience and 5+ years of reciprocating compressor & turbine operations and maintenance experience Three to Five years' experience in a supervisor position in the natural gas industry or equivalent industry

REQUIRED EDUCATION

High School Diploma or equivalent

PREFERRED EDUCATION

Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience
