Job Description
Job Summary:
The Recycle Manager reports to the Director of Centrifuge Assembly and is responsible for directing the activities of the Centrifuge Recycle team, Verification Test Stands, Centrifuge Drying, transport and turnover to Operations. The Recycle Manager also assists in the development and execution of the programs over these areas. The Recycle Manager is responsible for directing the activities of the Recycle and Assembly personnel including activities such as ensuring the safe operation of the plant utilities operations and the future disassembly, fissile maintenance, decommissioning, and disposition of materials.What You Will Do:
- Accountable for the safety of all authorized plant activities, including fissile maintenance, performed by personnel within their assigned area.
- Responsible for the assignment, scheduling, and training of personnel in centrifuge disassembly/select repair, operation of the Verification Test Stands, equipment monitoring, data collection, and supporting systems in accordance with approved procedures.
- Monitors work of assigned areas for compliance with procedures and directs operations using approved procedures.
- Approves work permits as required.
- Ensures qualified personnel are available to complete assigned work.
- Manages scheduling of integrated system testing and execution of test plans and coordinates work activities with other groups (service and construction)
- Accountable for materials, parts and supplies under their jurisdiction.
- Performs Change Evaluations and reviews as needed.
- Performs routine walk-through inspections of assigned areas and documents and provides resolution for identified deficiencies.
- Assists in the development of the training programs and validation of test plans, procedures and training material.

Hear From People With:
- Associate degree in Manufacturing/Chemical/Engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Five (5) years of industrial/chemical/nuclear plant operations, maintenance, engineering, or support experience
- Previous supervisory/leadership experience or completion of a supervisory training course
- Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a "Q" level security clearance.
A Successful Candidate Brings:
- Currently possess a "Q" level security clearance
- Previous managerial experience in industrial/chemical/nuclear plant operations, maintenance, engineering or support
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing/chemical/engineering or related field
