Covia is looking for an immediate Operator for our plant in Thompson, OH. The successful candidate will have the following
Key Accountabilities:
Perform all duties in a safe manner, following all safety regulations and safe work practices and assuring all equipment has been inspected and is in a safe working condition Use various types of plants (crushers, screeners, dryers, conveyors, skid steers) Potential to operate heavy equipment including loaders, bulldozers, backhoes, excavators, forklifts after one year of experience in the Operator role Cleaning up tail pulleys with shovels or hoses, greasing plant, running skid steer to clean, Troubleshoot and fix problems as they arise in the plant General tasks in the bagging/production facility Complete maintenance and housekeeping around the facility The successful candidate will have the following
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required Knowledge of basic tools and their uses Motivated, results oriented, and able to work in a team environment Ability to work well with others, be respectful, and respond to supervisor instructions Ability and willingness to work as many hours as necessary to accomplish duties.
