Essential Job Duties Comply with all of Oxbow's Health & Safety Policies.

Responsible for understanding and complying with all International Standards Organization (ISO) requirements applicable to the facility, including, but not limited to, compliance with OSHA, environmental regulations, and quality requirements.

Troubleshoots, repairs, and performs necessary calibration of machinery. Repairs and operates, including but not limited to, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and preventive maintenance tasks. Maintains self-awareness on safety issues and requirements and reports any safety concerns immediately to supervisor or Safety Coordinator. Works cooperatively to support all plant maintenance personnel and contractors to achieve completion of workload in a safe, efficient manner.

Works closely with production and maintenance personnel to reduce or eliminate down time.

Support efforts to maximize production through creative problem solving, adaptation, and correction of process bottlenecks.

Focuses on continuous improvement in all aspects of the job.

Communicates maintenance performance to and carry out all directives from the maintenance supervisor.

Completes work orders and documents the time, tasks and parts/supplies needed to complete the work order. Maintains updated documentation of all machinery and equipment changes.

Performs required maintenance duties as needed on an on-call basis and as scheduled.

Supports management with special projects and workflow process improvements and other duties as assigned.

Actively participate in plant health & safety processes, including safety committees, health & safety inspections, safety meetings/toolbox talks, job safety analysis (JSAs), incident/near miss investigations, and formal monthly safety training.

Operates all mobile equipment required on the job for material or parts placement (manlifts, forklifts, and work trucks).
