Oxbow is currently looking to hire a Plant Controls Engineer to join our team in Enid, OK. Essential Job Duties Comply with all of Oxbow's Health & Safety Policies. Responsible for understanding and complying with all International Standards Organization (ISO) requirements applicable to the facility, including but not limited to, compliance with OSHA, environmental regulations, and quality requirements. Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a process information system infrastructure utilizing Corporate Standards. Develops and implements new/improved programming logic and user interfaces using FactoryTalkView, PlantPax and Studio 5000 according to standards. Creates and maintains operational manuals and documentation for automation features. Maintains accuracy of electrical and control system drawings. Recommend changes and/or additions to the existing HMI. Performs preventive maintenance and calibration of automation end devices (e.g., temperature sensors, pressure switches, level indicators). Troubleshoot complex automation issues including network faults, programming errors, and device failures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including process engineers, maintenance, and IT to resolve issues and implement solutions. Lead and manage automation-related projects focused on process improvement and reliability. Coordinate and direct third-party contractors during system upgrades and installations. Handles special projects and workflow process improvements and other duties as assigned. Research, explore and propose new technology to solve problems throughout the plant. Utilize Ethernet networking concepts including VLANs, IP addressing, AOIs, and AOPs. Ensure electrical safety and code compliance by applying NFPA 70 and
