Reputable Liquid Asphalt Supplier is seeking an Asphalt Plant Operator. The operator will report to the Plant Manager and will help with the operation and maintenance of the liquid asphalt plant. Assist with railcars, trucks and the proper storage of liquid asphalt, ensuring that it meets quality standards. Assist with maintaining plant's inventory. Specific duties and responsibilities of an Asphalt Plant Operator may include: Help with storage of the liquid asphalt, blending of oils Help Plant Manager with Plant's inventory of raw materials and finished products Unload Rail Cars / Trucks and Maintenance of plant equipment Follow safety and environmental regulations Complying with all applicable laws and regulations Reporting to Plant Manager Qualifications and requirements for an Asphalt Plant Operator typically include: A high school diploma or equivalent 3+ years of experience in the asphalt industry Knowledge of asphalt production processes and quality control procedures Experience with plant equipment and maintenance Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work as part of a team
