Job Summary:

We are seeking a Licensed Radon Measurement Technician to join our team . This role involves conducting radon testing in residential and commercial properties, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and providing clients with accurate assessments of indoor radon levels. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has excellent communication skills to educate clients on radon risks and mitigation options.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform radon measurements using state-approved testing devices and protocols. Install and retrieve radon test kits in accordance with Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) Division of Nuclear Safety regulations. Maintain and calibrate radon measurement equipment as required. Accurately record and report radon testing results to clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams. Educate clients on radon exposure risks and mitigation procedures when necessary. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding radon measurement. Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service while working in residential and commercial properties. Follow proper documentation and chain-of-custody procedures for all radon testing activities. Assist in scheduling and coordinating radon testing appointments. Stay up to date with industry best practices, emerging technology, and regulatory changes.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Must hold a valid Illinois Radon Measurement Technician License issued by the IEMA Division of Nuclear Safety. Ability to work independently, manage schedules, and maintain accurate records. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in using mobile apps and software for data collection and reporting. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to lift and carry testing equipment (up to 25 lbs). Willingness to travel within the Chicagoland area for testing appointments.
