DOE Schedule:
Full-Time We are seeking an experienced Environmental Foreman / Equipment Operator to join a field team supporting environmental, sitework, and underground system projects throughout the Lowcountry. This is a hands-on position for someone with strong heavy equipment and construction experience who can help oversee daily field operations while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity. What You'll Do Oversee and assist with daily field operations and construction activities Operate skid steers, excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and other heavy equipment Install and work with underground drainage systems, ponds, and environmental systems Install rock, liners, and filter fabric Assist with pipe and underground utility work Perform grading, excavation, site preparation, and related sitework Conduct routine equipment inspections and identify maintenance needs Monitor jobsite conditions and maintain a safe, organized work environment Coordinate with crew members and supervisors to keep projects on schedule Assist with site setup, cleanup, and other field operations as needed What We're Looking For Previous foreman, lead, or experienced heavy equipment operator experience Strong skid steer operating experience Experience with environmental construction, drainage systems, ponds, or underground systems is a major plus Excavator and bulldozer experience preferred, but not required Some pipe/piping experience is a plus Strong understanding of construction safety and OSHA standards Ability to perform work safely, efficiently, and with attention to detail Reliable, hardworking, and comfortable working outdoors and across different job sites Pay & Opportunity $24-$28/hr DOE Projects are located throughout the Charleston to Bluffton area , so flexibility to work at different Lowcountry job sites is important.
