Water Plant Operator, Town of Winnsboro Employee Status:

Full Time Job Duties:

Under regular supervision, operates the water filtration plant. Follows applicable laws, regulations, policies, procedures and standards of quality and safety. Maintains plant equipment and systems. Performs related work as required. Reports to the Water Plant Director.

Minimum Training and Experience:

High school diploma or GED equivalent supplemented by formal training Specialized advanced training in water filtration plant operations Two years of experience in plant operations, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Must possess Class "C" Water Treatment Operator Certification. Must possess a valid state driver's license. Willing to train.

Hours of Work:

12 hour shifts 6 A.M. - 6 P.M.

Experienced Operators:
