Description:
Phoenix Global is looking for energetic individuals to be part of our Team. We are looking for individuals to help with the day-to-day issues that pop up but to also be part of the big picture. General Responsibilities:
Install, align, and adjust mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components using manual, pneumatic, and electrical tools. Perform on-site drilling, tapping, threading, welding, and any other tasks as required by the Maintenance Manager. Use various lifting and manual handling tools as needed. Assemble machines and secure them with bolts, welds, rivets, or other fastenings, using hand tools and power tools. Operate a lathe to grind, file, and turn machine parts to meet dimensional specifications. Repair and lubricate machines and equipment. Be capable of performing preventive maintenance inspections on equipment while operating. Document findings and record temperature readings during equipment operation. General Qualifications / Skills Ability to read and interpret project plans, blueprints, other written instructions, and diagrams accurately. Ability to use measuring tools such as tape measures, speed squares, and framing squares. Ability to move machinery and equipment with hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks. Ability to assemble and install various types of equipment and machinery using hand tools and power tools. Ability to align motors and equipment using various methods and tools, including but not limited to feeler gauges, squares, rulers, micrometers, plum bobs, dial indicators, and laser alignment.
Experience / Requirements
Previous millwright experience in an industrial setting is preferred. Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening. Willing to perform other duties as assigned.
