Job Description
Job Overview I am seeking a camera operator to be able to record political debates and conversations for social media. The operator will need to be able to manage multiple cameras and audio systems. Responsibilities Set up and operate a variety of video recording equipment, including cameras, microphones, lighting, and supporting accessories to ensure optimal shot quality. Execute camera setups with precision, adjusting focus, framing, exposure, and camera movements to achieve desired effects. Record high-quality audio by managing microphones and sound equipment during filming sessions. Manage lighting arrangements to enhance scene visibility and mood while maintaining consistency across shots. Conduct post-production tasks such as editing footage using media editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Photoshop to craft polished final products. Maintain all video production equipment in excellent working condition and stay updated on the latest technical advancements in videography tools and techniques. Qualifications experience operating professional video recording equipment and understanding of camera setup techniques. proficiency with media editing software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and Adobe Lightroom. Knowledge of lighting for video production and sound recording for video is essential. Demonstrated ability in videography with an eye for visual storytelling and composition. Familiarity with post-production processes such as editing, color correction, sound mixing, and visual effects. Excellent technical proficiency with video production tools and media editing software. Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with creative teams and clients. It is a low-maintence flexible side job for now. However, it will increasingly grow in hours and pay rate alongside the organization.
