Job Summary The UV Printer Technician is responsible for the end-to-end production of high-quality printed materials, with a primary focus on processing, preparing, and manufacturing customized logo shields. This role combines graphic file prepress, direct equipment setup and operation, quality control, and routine technical maintenance of our UV inkjet printing equipment. This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys working with technology, graphic files, and production machinery. Candidates with strong technical aptitude, acute attention to detail, and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply—hands-on training on our specific UV printer, software, systems, and processes will be provided.

Key Responsibilities Printer Processing:

Review incoming orders, inspect artwork for print readiness, and prep files using graphic software.

Production & Operation:

Set up and operate the Inkjet UV printer, including loading materials, selecting print settings, positioning artwork, and monitoring active print jobs.

Quality Control & Inventory:

Inspect finished puzzles for clarity, alignment, and color accuracy. Reprint non-conforming items. Track material usage, waste, and stock levels.

Maintenance & Safety:

Perform daily, weekly, and monthly printer cleaning and preventive maintenance. Troubleshoot basic issues and escalate to technical support when needed. Maintain a clean, safe workspace. Qualifications & SkillsRequired Strong technical aptitude, mechanical curiosity, and high attention to detail. Comfort working with computers, digital files, and hands-on manufacturing equipment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks to meet turnaround deadlines. Solid communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and assisting customers with artwork approvals. Ability to inspect printed work for fine detail and color accuracy. Preferred Experience with graphic-design or image-editing software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) and RIP software. Prior experience in digital printing, sign production, order processing, quality control, or inventory management. Previous experience operating UV flatbed or wide-format inkjet printers (though candidates with a strong desire to learn are highly encouraged to apply).
