Job Description

About Patriot Patriot Companies is a group of growing businesses built on a simple belief: How you work matters just as much as what you produce.
We value:
humility kindness personal responsibility follow-through high standards without ego How We Work At Patriot, our values show up in how we operate every day: We take responsibility for our work We follow through without being asked We treat people with respect and kindness We solve problems instead of assigning blame We do what we say we're going to do People who thrive here tend to be steady, dependable, and focused on doing the right thing even when no one is watching. We are a small, high-performing team that works hard, moves quickly, and expects people to do what they say they will do. About the Role Patriot Companies is seeking a Print Production Specialist to run our in-house print department, which supports Firehouse Pride, Patriot Companies, and select commercial customers. You will take approved artwork and produce high-quality printed products from start to finish — preparing files, operating print and finishing equipment, inspecting for quality, packaging, and getting every order out accurately and on time. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, stays organized, and can keep a small production shop running smoothly with minimal supervision. Schedule On-site at our Beallsville print shop. Production runs on a regular weekly rhythm. We are looking for an independent self starter so hours and days can be flexible within reason. If a standard weekday schedule is preferred then some weekend availability may be required to keep orders on schedule. Exact hours and start schedule will be discussed during the interview process. What You'll Do Prepare and organize approved artwork and print-ready files for production, following our file-naming and workflow standards. Operate wide-format printers and related cutting, laminating, and finishing equipment. Produce banners, decals, stickers, magnets, signs, posters, wall graphics, and other custom printed materials. Cross-check each job against the customer order for color, size, and specifications before printing. Inspect finished work for defects, then trim, finish, and package orders to our quality standard. Prepare completed orders for shipping or customer pickup using our fulfillment tools. Track inventory of film, laminate, ink, and shipping supplies, and reorder before running low. Perform routine equipment cleaning and preventative maintenance. Keep the production area, digital files, and completed jobs well organized. Recommend improvements to workflow and shop organization. What We're Looking For Experience with Adobe Illustrator (preferred) and Photoshop (or similar design/production software). Hands-on printing, cutting, and lamination experience — vinyl, stickers, magnets, and wall graphics a plus. Comfort with, or the ability to quickly learn, order fulfillment and shipping software. Strong computer and file-management skills. Excellent attention to detail and consistency under a recurring production schedule. Ability to prioritize multiple jobs and meet deadlines. Self-motivated and comfortable working independently. Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn new equipment. Preferred Degree or coursework in Visual Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field. Prior print-shop or sign/wrap production experience. What Success Looks Like High-quality printed products, every time. Accurate, on-time order completion with no weekend backlog. A well-organized, efficient production area. Smart, efficient use of materials. Dependable support for Patriot Companies and our customers. Why Join Patriot Companies? Patriot Companies is a family of businesses built on integrity, quality, and continuous improvement. Our in-house print department plays an important role in supporting our brands while providing professional print services to select outside customers. This position offers the opportunity to become a trusted member of a stable organization where your work has a direct, visible impact every day. To Apply Please submit your resume and a brief summary of your print or production experience. Include samples of your work if you have any. Experience in digital print production is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with the right attitude and work ethic.
