40" Offset Press Operator - 1st or 2nd Shift

Job Summary CE Print + Promo is a privately owned commercial printer based in Des Moines, Iowa who recently partnered with a successful printer operating in the Twin Cities area for over 100 years. We are seeking a skilled 40" offset press operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced with the operation and maintenance of 40" offset sheetfed printing equipment and the production of high-quality printed materials. This role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of print production processes, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The 40" Offset Press Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring that print jobs are produced accurately and efficiently. Duties The essential duties of the press operator job include hanging plates, adjusting registration and ink keys, matching color to proofs, performing wash-ups and installing blankets. Monitor and ensure quality and efficiency standards are met throughout press runs. Perform routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production. Collaborate with management and team members to coordinate workflow and meet project deadlines. Maintain an organized and clean work area to promote safety and efficiency. Requirements Proven experience as a 40" offset sheetfed press operator. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines. Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods during shifts. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Experience with Ryobi and Jet presses is a plus but not required.
