• approximately 2PM
• 12AM M-Th (hours/days fluctuate depending on workload) Starting pay is $17 to $25 (commensurate with experience) plus 10% shift differential Overtime required during peak business needs What you get in return: Benefits include generous PTO, Paid Holidays, 401k Savings/match Health, Dental, Vision & Life Insurance, Long-term & Short-term Disability Your new role: As the Prepress Technician , you will set the foundation for successful printing production•analyzing files, preparing jobs for press, and ensuring color accuracy and quality standards are met every step of the way.

Analyze customer files for possible production concerns Impose art files per specifications Create variably merged documents using XMPIE Prepare a variety of jobs for offset and digital printing processes Review files for print quality standards Prepare color accurate proofs and folding mock-ups as required by client Understand client needs and use creativity to exceed expectations Assist in testing and documentation of new equipment and processes Create variable digital documents varying in complexity and quantity What you need to succeed: Associate's Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school 3 to 5 years' experience in prepress, graphic arts, or printing industry Adobe Creative Suite experience and working knowledge of MS Office XMPIE variable data merge software experience or similar Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills Mac-OSX proficiency Acceptable criminal background check Who we are: NextPage offers a new dimension in communications through creative problem solving, smart data mining and the latest technologies to get you beyond the printed page.
