Job Description
Job Overview An EMI (Electromagnetic Induction) Tubing Scanner is responsible for inspecting oilfield tubulars for internal and external flaws, wall loss, pitting, and cracks using non-destructive testing (NDT) technology. The scanner operates specialized EMI equipment to detect longitudinal and transverse defects, ensuring tubing integrity before it is returned to the well. Key Responsibilities Operate EMI Inspection Equipment (OEM): Use high-speed EMI tools to scan tubing as it is pulled from the well during workovers or completions.
