Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and proactive Customization Specialist specializing in Heat Press and DTF (Direct-to-Film) printer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for configuring, customizing, and optimizing heat press and DTF printing equipment to meet diverse client requirements. The Customization Specialist is responsible for completing work orders that require DTF logos and heat applications. They handle everything from design to cutting and embellishment.
  • Properly apply logos to clothing using heat press
  • Applying proper formulas to heat press, such as proper temperature, pressure, timing and placement on the garment
  • Completing work orders outlined in the daily production schedule, organizing orders, and organizing files for customers
  • Quality control of each embellishment
  • Manual and Automatic heat presses are used
  • Proper operation and maintenance of heat-press equipment
  • Maintaining the work area clean and organized
  • Cut and peel appropriate designs
  • Use Illustrator and Photoshop when needed
  • Other duties as assigned Required experience : Must have 1-2 years' experience in heat-press operation, Cricut operation, or screen printing.
Must be familiar with Illustrator. Cricut Design Space will be considered as well. Must have worked with DTF printer Must be able to read and measure with a ruler Must be good at math Must be familiar with peeling designs from heat transfer vinyl Must work on site Must be able to stand for entire shift Must be able to lift up to 40-pound boxes Climbing small ladder, bending, reaching, squatting Must be able to read and comprehend written/verbal orders Must be able to communicate efficiently in English Must be capable of only taking one meal period per day for an 8-hour shift Must be able to work between the hours of 9am-5pm Monday-Saturday Office/Desk and all areas responsible must be vacuumed, swept, and wiped down at the end of the week. All staff understand that Uniform Gear is a team environment. Even though we have our daily responsibilities, staff will be asked to assist in other departments they are knowledgeable in. Staff members who regularly work Monday-Friday may be asked to work on the weekends when we are open. Hours will be adjusted and at least three weeks' notice will be given.
  • Additional duties can be assigned.
Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
