Description Mittera Group is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Printing Desktop Operator to join our production team in Philadelphia, Pa. . In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and formatting digital files to ensure they are ready for high-quality commercial print production.

File Preparation:

Format, check, and preflight digital files using Adobe Creative Suite to ensure proper resolution, color modes (CMYK/Pantone), bleeds, and fonts.

Layout & Imposition:

Create digital impositions, plates, or layouts optimized for digital and offset printing presses.

•

Quality Control:

Inspect proofs for accuracy, alignment, and formatting errors before final production runs.

•

Troubleshooting:

Resolve file corruptions, missing links, formatting discrepancies, and coloring issues.

•

Collaboration:

Work closely with graphic designers, sales representatives, and press operators to meet tight deadlines. Requirements

•

Experience:

2+ years of experience in prepress, desktop publishing, or a commercial print environment. XMF Experience a plus

•

Software:

Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat Pro). Experience with imposition software (e.g., Kodak Prinergy, Fiery Command WorkStation) is highly preferred.

Technical Knowledge:

Deep understanding of commercial print processes, color theory, trapping, bleed, and margins.
