WHO IS LIGHTBULB RENTALS?
Lightbulb Rentals has been supporting the TV and film industry across the East Coast since 2016. We're an equipment rental house, but more than that, we're part of a creative ecosystem built around people who want to make things. Our team focuses on the independent filmmaking community through our NYC, Philadelphia, and Pittsburgh branches. We spend our time and resources backing filmmakers who care deeply about what they're making. Stories that reflect a range of voices, and artists who have something worth saying. That's the work that feels meaningful to us, and it's the reason we're here. On a practical level, we keep productions moving by offering a wide range of gear: cinema cameras, lenses, lighting, rigging, and on-set essentials like tables, chairs, coolers, heaters, and whatever else the day calls for. Our shops run as tight crews: small teams that move quickly, solve problems, and keep things simple with a fully paperless workflow. We also make a point of lowering industry financial barriers to entry wherever we can. Between our larger commercial client projects, a notable portion of our rentals are discounted (or donated) to help young filmmakers and production companies get their footing. When people have more access to the right tools, they find their footing faster, and their voices continue to carry.WHO ARE WE HIRING?
