3D Printing Operations Tech Snap Engineering Group Arlington, TX Job Details Full-time $12 - $15 an hour 9 hours ago Qualifications Packing Cutting Order shipping Attention to detail 3D printing Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented 3D Printing Operations Technician to help manage our print farm at Snap Engineering Group in Arlington, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting advanced FDM 3D printing equipment to produce everything from 48-hour rapid prototypes to high-volume production runs. Your expertise will ensure efficient production workflows and that our customers receive fully finished, high-quality products. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting edge manufacturing technology in an environment dedicated to creating quality products.
Responsibilities Print Farm Operation:
Set up, operate, and monitor our 3D print farm, ensuring optimal performance.
Print Preparation:
Use advanced slicing software to optimize CAD files for print efficiency and structural integrity.
Workflow Management:
Use MS Excel and internal software to manage day-to-day workflows and ensure strict 48-hour turnaround times for prototypes.
Post-Print Assembly & Finishing:
Clean up prints and perform complex hardware integrations, including installing threaded inserts, fasteners, magnets, and basic electronics wiring.
Quality Assurance:
Use precision measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify dimensional accuracy, ensuring all parts meet our strict tolerance specs.
Equipment Maintenance:
Conduct routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting on 3D printers and delicate electronics using common hand tools.
Fulfillment:
Pack, process, and ship orders accurately, handling both direct local delivery and direct-to-customer drop-shipping.
Qualifications Technical Proficiency:
Tech-savvy with strong proficiency in Excel .
Mechanical Aptitude:
Hands-on knowledge of how to use common tools to maintain delicate electronics, perform hardware assembly, and troubleshoot industrial equipment. Attention to

Ability to follow procedures to maintain tight manufacturing specs.
Coachable :
Fast learner opened to gaining knowledge in the 3D printing field
Time Management:
Highly organized with the ability to multitask effectively and manage continuous production queues in a fast-paced environment.
Pay:
$12.00 - $15.00 per hour
