Printer Technician

Role and Responsibilities:

• Full scale troubleshooting and repair (ability to replace all components of the device)
• Flexible to travel as required
• Flexible to work overtime, nights, and weekends as required
• May be asked to back up or perform duties of other job roles as qualified
• Maintains technical knowledge by completing training and reviewing technical publications
• Work all proactive maintenance (DRA) tickets assigned.
• Work all break/fix tickets assigned o Contacting customer within 30 minutes after receiving o Closing within (SLA) specified hours allotted of receiving o Escalating to manager any ticket not closed after 1 hour
• Maintain inventory o Check in incoming orders daily o Check inventory levels correcting any discrepancies o Escalating any consumable outage to manager o Preparing and shipping parts out when requested
• Customer service o Responsible for maintaining good customer communications o Meet all customers' needs and requests, reporting any problems to manager o Maintaining professional communications and appearance

Requirements:

• High School Diploma minimum, technical associates degree preferred
• 1-3 years print break/fix experience in an environment of 300+ devices
• Xerox /Lexmark Certifications Preferred; or equivalent printer experience will be accepted .
• Active A+ Certification
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Maintain a professional appearance
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to walk for long periods of time
• Ability to lift 30 to 50 lbs
• Must be able to pass blindness color test
• Must have reliable personal transportation and valid driver license
• Must be able to pass background check and drug screen

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
