Printing & Design Assistant ILTEX Apparel Houston, TX Job Details Full-time $15 - $17 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Computer operation Customer communication Computer literacy No experience needed Canva Attention to detail Data entry Full Job Description We are a growing custom apparel and printing business looking for a reliable and creative person to join our team. This is a hands-on position working with DTF printing equipment, customer artwork, and computer-based order systems . You do not need years of printing experience — we will train you on our equipment and process. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with computers, learns quickly, pays attention to details, and enjoys creative work. What You'll Do Prepare customer artwork and files for printing. Operate DTF printing equipment after training. Check artwork, sizing, colors, and order details before printing. Use programs such as Canva and Adobe software for basic artwork adjustments. Keep track of daily orders and make sure work is completed on time. Check finished prints for quality and accuracy. Help customers in person when they need assistance placing or preparing an order. Enter and update orders on the computer. Keep your work area organized. Work with the team to complete daily production. What We're Looking For Very comfortable using computers and able to learn new software quickly. Some experience with Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar design software is preferred. Creative mindset and an interest in design, printing, apparel, or graphics. Able to think on your feet and solve small problems without needing constant direction. Detail-oriented — you should naturally double-check your work. Able to work at a good pace and stay on top of multiple orders. Good communication and customer service skills. Reliable, punctual, and consistent. Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team. Previous DTF or printing experience is NOT required. We are willing to train the right person. This is a good opportunity for someone early in their career who has some work experience, is comfortable with technology, enjoys creative work, and wants to learn the custom printing industry.
Pay:
