Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our sheet metal fabrication team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machinery to bend and form sheet metal components according to engineering drawings and production requirements. This position requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Must be open to working overtime and weekends. Responsibilities Set up and operate press brake machines to form sheet metal parts. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders. Select proper tooling and machine settings for each job. Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with specifications. Perform first-piece and in-process quality inspections. Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain product quality. Maintain production records and documentation. Perform routine machine maintenance and housekeeping tasks. Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Previous experience operating press brake equipment. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. Experience using precision measuring instruments. Strong math and problem-solving skills. Preferred Experience with Amada press brakes. Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes. Forklift certification. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Frequently lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to bend, reach, and work around manufacturing equipment.

Pay:

$22.00 - $30.00 per hour
