Press Brake Operator Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team that currently working as press operator and has minimum 5 years experience . This role involves operating press brake machinery to bend and shape metal components according to precise specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience interpreting mechanical blueprints, utilizing measuring instruments, and performing quality control measurements to ensure the highest standards of accuracy and safety in metal fabrication processes. Duties Operate press brake machinery to bend and form metal sheets and components in accordance with technical drawings and specifications. Interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings to determine the correct bending angles, dimensions, and procedures. Use various measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure parts meet specified tolerances. Perform precision measurements during machining and fabrication processes to maintain quality standards. Conduct quality control checks on finished parts, ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety regulations. Set up and adjust press brake equipment for different jobs, including selecting appropriate tooling and programming machine parameters. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and reporting any equipment issues or hazards promptly. Qualifications Proven experience operating press brake machinery in a manufacturing or fabrication setting. Strong ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Proficiency with measuring instruments used for precision measurement in machining. Knowledge of metal fabrication processes and safety procedures related to press brake operation. Attention to detail with a focus on quality control and measurement accuracy. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues is preferred.
