The ideal candidate will have experience operating an Accurpress Press Brake and a strong passion for precision metal fabrication. This position requires a solid understanding of sheet metal forming processes, blueprint interpretation, and safe machine operation. Candidates should be dependable, safety-conscious, and committed to maintaining a clean and organized work environment while contributing positively to the team. Qualifications Experience operating an Accurpress Press Brake Knowledge of forming, shearing, and notching metal parts Ability to read and interpret Bills of Materials (BOMs) Ability to convert decimals to fractions accurately Experience measuring and cutting metal sheets to required dimensions using appropriate tools Requirements Strong understanding of sheet metal layout techniques Knowledge of K-factors and bend allowances Understanding of material thicknesses, specifically 16-gauge and 11-gauge materials Complete understanding of open and closed bends Ability to program and operate a CNC press brake Experience operating programmable backstop gauges Ability to replace and set up dies/tooling Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.; team lifting is utilized for larger materials Testing Requirement Candidates will be required to complete a practical skills test, including squaring a piece of steel using a shear machine.
