Duties Operate CNC press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal with high precision according to detailed blueprints and specifications Set up, program, and operate plasma cutting tables utilizing Fusion 360 for design input and toolpath generation Program CNC laser cutting, CNC milling machines, and CNC lathes to produce complex parts accurately and efficiently Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards to ensure correct fabrication processes Conduct quality inspections using precision measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges to verify dimensional accuracy Maintain safety standards by adhering to all safety protocols during machine operation, including proper tooling setup and material handling Perform routine maintenance on machinery including welding equipment, forming machines, and other fabrication tools to ensure optimal performance Qualifications Proven experience operating CNC press brakes, plasma tables, laser cutters, CNC milling machines, lathes, or stamping presses in a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of CNC programming software such as Fusion 360 or equivalent CAD/CAM tools Mechanical blueprint interpretation skills combined with shop math proficiency for accurate fabrication Familiarity with safety standards related to machine operation, welding, forming machines, and metal fabrication processes Ability to use measuring instruments for quality control and precision measurement in machining tasks Mechanical knowledge of tooling setup, material handling equipment like forklifts (certification preferred), and hand tools for assembly and fabrication tasks Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on efficiency and quality in production workflows Join our team where your technical expertise will drive innovative manufacturing solutions!
