Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press brake machines to shape and form sheet metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to producing high-quality metal parts that meet strict specifications and safety standards. Responsibilities Set up and operate press brake machines, ensuring proper tooling and calibration for each job. Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing specifications to produce precise metal components. Measure finished parts using precision measurement instruments to verify conformance to quality standards. Adjust machine settings as needed to optimize performance and maintain high-quality output. Perform routine maintenance, safety checks, and troubleshooting on press brake equipment to minimize downtime. Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment and adherence to safety standards in production. Collaborate with team members on tooling setup, machine operation, and quality inspection tasks to ensure efficient workflow. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience operating press brake machines and other forming equipment. Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing instructions. Skilled in measuring parts accurately using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments. Familiarity with CNC (Computer Numerical Control) programming and operation for automation integration is a plus. Knowledge of safety standards related to machine operation, sheet metal fabrication, and workplace safety protocols. Ability to perform basic shop math necessary for measurements, calculations, and setup adjustments. Experience with additional manufacturing processes such as CNC laser cutting, plasma cutting, welding, CNC milling machines, CNC lathe operations, or forming machines is advantageous.
