We are looking for Press Brake Operator workers for the Crystal Lake area. 1st Shift $19.00 Hr 6 AM- 2 PM 3rd shift $21.75hr from 10 PM-6 AM (training on 1st shift ) Available to work overtime as needed Mandatory OT for both positions

Requirements/Duties:

Required to adhere to instructions. Fundamental understanding of press brakes or panel benders. Proficient in interpreting blueprints and utilizing basic measuring tools. Capable of performing elementary math involving fractions and decimals. Possesses rudimentary computer skills. Should possess a general understanding of tool changing. Key Responsibilities (Essential Job Functions): Operate hydraulic brake press or folding machine, selecting appropriate tooling and organizing it. Collaborate with Team Lead and Supervisor to ensure accurate product output. Promptly report machine problems or quality issues to supervisors. Interpret blueprints, set up machinery, and verify material thickness. Utilize measuring instruments like calipers, tapes, and protractors. Label parts correctly and maintain production records. Report production using RFGen. Set and discuss goals with supervisor, seeking continuous quality and productivity improvements. Follow safety protocols, keep the area orderly, and maintain high-quality standards. Foster a positive team-driven work culture.

Experience & Education:

CNC programming background is advantageous. Proficient in interpreting blueprints and utilizing fundamental measuring instruments, with the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations involving fractions and decimals. Familiarity with operating and configuring Amada Press Brakes or Cidan is beneficial. Preferably, possesses 1-2 years of experience.

High School or GED Special Physical Requirements:

Capable of operating press brake or folding machine physically. Extended durations of standing Standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, maintaining balance, stooping, kneeling, reaching, handling, using fingers, tactile sensation, verbal communication, auditory perception, various visual tasks, assessing depth, adjusting visual focus. Should be able to lift 35 pounds and move objects weighing up to 125 pounds by pushing or pulling.
