From $22.00 per hour Position Overview We are hiring a CNC Press Brake Technician to support precision sheet metal fabrication. This position is responsible for setting up and operating press brake equipment to bend and form metal parts according to engineering drawings and production requirements. The ideal candidate has experience producing accurate, high-quality components while maintaining safe and efficient manufacturing practices. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC press brake machines. Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings. Select the correct tooling, dies, and machine settings for each job. Measure and inspect parts during production to ensure they meet specifications. Use precision measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, and tape measures. Verify finished parts meet quality and dimensional requirements. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow established safety procedures and manufacturing standards. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of experience operating press brake equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and standard shop documentation. Proficiency with precision measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, and tape measures. Basic math skills for measuring and layout calculations. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday. Preferred Skills Experience in sheet metal fabrication or metal forming. Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently while meeting production goals. Strong organizational and communication skills.
