Job Description

CNC Press Brake Operator Sterling Heights, MI Environment:
ISO 9001
2015-certified, ITAR-registered metal fabrication job shop (sheet metal, CNC machining, laser cutting, stamping, welding/assembly) serving aerospace, automotive, military, medical, and appliance customers.
Responsibilities:
Operate CNC press brake machinery to produce precision metal components Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings Perform bending and forming operations using standard and custom tooling Input and adjust specifications using a CNC controller Set ram and back gauge positions according to work instructions Use measuring tools to inspect height, depth, and thickness Maintain tight tolerances and perform sample bends for quality verification Conduct spot inspections and maintain quality standards Perform routine machine maintenance per schedule Follow all safety protocols and procedures
Qualifications:
3-5 years' experience operating a CNC press brake machines (Ermaksan preferred but not required) Ability to set up 2 and 3 piece tools and develop a blanks Ability to program press CNC controls at the machine Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools to perform spot checks Familiarity with tight tolerances and CNC machine input
