Press Brake Operator Job Description We are seeking a talented and motivated Press Brake Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in setting up, operating, and programming Mitsubishi Lasers, as well as the ability to perform daily requirements such as nesting of parts, loading towers, and monitoring cut conditions. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and program Mitsubishi Lasers. Perform nesting of parts. Load the towers and monitor cut conditions. Cross-train in other departments including brake press, punch press, welding, grinding, and shipping/receiving. Load and unload materials from trucks, staging them for different departments. Wipe down machinery and remove scrap from the scrap collectors. Essential Skills 1+ years of experience on a laser. 1+ years of machine operation or equivalent experience with hand/power tools. Ability to operate a sit-down forklift. Mechanical inclination and proficiency in laser operation, sheet metal, and machine operating. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with ERP systems and MX Station. Knowledge of brake press machines, punch press, and welding. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shakopee, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
