: Job Summary
Join our dynamic manufacturing team in Winsted, MN, as a skilled Press Brake Operator on the night shift. Winsted is a charming city known for its strong community spirit and thriving industrial sector, offering a great place to live and work. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend and shape sheet metal components according to specifications. This position requires attention to detail, strong mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints effectively. You will ensure all products meet quality standards while strictly adhering to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate press brake machines to perform bending operations on sheet metal.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and tolerances.
Conduct quality inspections of finished products using calipers and other measuring tools.
Program the press brake machine as needed for various production runs.
Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety procedures.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in blueprint reading.
Strong basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
Experience with quality inspection processes to ensure product integrity.
Previous experience working with sheet metal is highly desirable.
Shift Details
This position is for the night shift. 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM, Monday through Thursday
