Job description The duties for this position will include but are not limited to reading blueprints, work orders, job travelers and routers. Set-Up and safe operation of press brake. Ability to work efficiently while safely producing high quality parts. Responsibilities Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, job travelers/routers. A complete understanding of fabrication mathematics. The ability to measure and verify dimensions using various measuring devices. The ability to identify, retrieve and install the required punch based on bend radius. The ability to identify, retrieve and install the required dye based on material thickness. The ability to download program files, or program a press brake at the controller. The ability to program each program step using tonnage mode, angle mode/absolute position. The ability to properly and safely operate a press brake from a variety of manufacturers. The ability to troubleshoot, analyze and resolve operating and fabricating challenges. The ability to work efficiently while safely producing high quality parts. Qualifications 1 year of Press Brake Set-up, Programming and Operation required. 2 years of Fabrication experience preferred. Ability to work well with others Reliable Transportation Blueprint Reading Skills Good Math Skills Ability to stand for 8 - 10 hours Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
