Duties:
```
  • Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal sheets according to specifications
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders to determine the correct dimensions and tolerances
  • Select and install appropriate tooling and dies in the press brake machine
  • Adjust machine settings such as speed, pressure, and back gauge position for each job
  • Monitor machine operation to ensure quality and accuracy of bends
  • Inspect finished parts using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
  • Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to maintain product quality
  • Perform routine maintenance on press brake machines to ensure optimal performance ```
Qualifications:
```
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years experience operating press brake machines or similar equipment preferred
  • Strong knowledge of metal fabrication processes and techniques
  • Proficient in using hand tools and measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
  • Basic math skills for interpreting measurements and calculations
  • Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders
  • Knowledge of electrical discharge machining (EDM) is a plus
  • Experience with other machining processes such as milling machines is a plus
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and operate a crane if required This position offers competitive pay based on experience.
