MMEC is an Employee Owned Company. We are a small family based company where everyone is involved in our operations. This job opening is for night shift. 4 days a week 2:30pm -12:30am Monday thru Thursday Press Brake Operator I will use a press brake to bend, shape, cut, and manipulate sheet metal and metal plates into shape to precise specifications on blueprints under the supervision of Press Brake Operator II or a Supervisor.

Job Responsibilities:

• Able read and interpret blueprints to create simple formed parts according to specifications noted.
• Program on assigned CNC Press Brake to create final formed parts to meet customer specified tolerances.
• Measure/QC the final product to ensure conformity to the specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and fill out required documentation.
• Fill out all required paperwork on the job traveler to meet ISO standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Skills:

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Capable of convert fractions to decimals, and metric to standard.
• Basic measuring tool knowledge to include tape measures, calipers, etc.
• Basic blueprint reading. Education
• High School diploma or equivalent

Experience:

• Previous experience operating a Press Brake is preferred.
• 0-1 year

Physical & Environmental Requirements:

• Frequent standing, walking throughout an 8-hour shift.
• Frequent lifting of weights up to 70lbs.
• Occasional pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting and reaching.
• Able to work in hot and cold environments.

$19.00 - $26.00 per hour
